Privacy Policy
Last updated: 25 October 2026
This notice explains how Eggflow Community uses information when you visit or register at community.bemeapps.com, including when you choose Sign in with Google. It covers the community service; separate Eggflow and BeMEApps products have their own privacy notices.
Information we process
Community accounts and registration requests contain your email address, username and account settings. We also process profile information and content you submit, moderation records, and technical information such as IP addresses, request times and browser information needed to operate and protect the service.
If you choose Google sign-in, Google provides a unique account identifier, your email address and verification status, and basic profile information such as your name. We use the identifier to connect your Google account to your community account. A new username is derived from your name and identifier. We do not import your Google profile photo. Google passwords are never provided to us.
How Google information is used
We request only openid, email and profile permissions to authenticate you, link an account, and process a registration request. We do not request access to Gmail messages, Drive files, contacts, calendars or other Google services. Access tokens used during sign-in are not retained by the community, and we do not request ongoing offline access or store refresh tokens.
New Google registrations require administrator approval. Your Google identifier and email are stored with the pending request so an approved account can be linked correctly. A verified Google-hosted address can satisfy email verification; other addresses may still need the community's email confirmation. Google sign-in does not bypass posting moderation or account restrictions.
Information received through Google sign-in is used for community authentication and account administration. We do not sell that information or use it for advertising, mailing-list enrollment, or training artificial intelligence models.
Public content and service providers
Your username, public profile information and published posts can be seen by visitors. Your email address, Google account identifier and pending registration details are not published in your public profile by this integration. Administrators can access account and registration information to manage the community.
We use service providers to host, secure and operate the community, including Amazon Web Services for hosting and Cloudflare for network protection and human verification. These providers process information needed for their services. Our community infrastructure is hosted in the United States. Email delivery providers process addresses and messages needed to deliver account emails. We may disclose information when required by law or to investigate abuse and protect the service.
Cookies and Google sign-in
The community uses cookies to maintain your session, protect sign-in requests and route requests reliably. Its session cookie is limited to community.bemeapps.com and uses Secure, HttpOnly and SameSite protections. Cloudflare and Google may process information and use their own cookies when you interact with their services. You can manage cookies in your browser; blocking necessary cookies may prevent sign-in. Google sign-in is optional and local registration remains available, subject to the community's registration rules.
Retention, removal and your choices
We retain account information while an account is maintained, and pending registration information until it is approved, rejected or otherwise removed by administrators. Published content and moderation records may remain after an account is removed where needed to preserve discussions, prevent abuse or meet legal obligations. Deleted information may remain in restricted backups until those backups expire under operational retention procedures.
You can request access, correction, deletion of your community account or pending request, or removal of a Google account link by contacting tony@eggflow.net. We may ask you to verify account ownership. You can also revoke the app's Google access through your Google Account connections settings; revocation does not itself delete information already stored in the community. Removing a Google link may require another sign-in method to retain access.
