How We Drive More Airport Transfer Bookings Through SEO & Online Presence — What's Working for Us in 2025

I run an airport taxi and private transfer service based in London — SkyBridge Cars — and I wanted to share what's been actually moving the needle for us in terms of online bookings, in case it helps any of you in service-based or local businesses here.
The Problem We Had
Like a lot of service businesses, we were getting traffic but not conversions. People would land on our pages for things like Heathrow Airport Taxi or Gatwick Airport Taxi bookings, browse for 30 seconds, and leave. Sound familiar?
What Actually Helped
1. Dedicated landing pages per airport
Instead of one generic "book a taxi" page, we built separate pages for each airport we serve. So now we have specific pages for Stansted Airport Taxi, London City Airport Taxi, and even long-distance routes like taxi Gatwick to Liverpool. Each page targets its own keyword cluster and converts way better than a single generic page ever did.
2. Answering real questions in our content
We started writing blog content that answered the actual questions our customers search for — things like "how early should I arrive at Heathrow in summer?" or "is Gatwick North or South Terminal for easyJet?" Traffic from these posts builds trust before people even hit the booking page.
3. Reviews front and centre
We moved our Google reviews from the footer to above the fold. That one change alone improved our booking rate noticeably. Social proof matters massively in service businesses where trust is the product.
4. Simple, fast booking flow
We cut our booking form from 12 fields down to 6 essential ones. Fewer steps = fewer drop-offs. Obvious in hindsight but we were guilty of over-complicating it.A question for the community:
