How do prediction startups attract users when there aren’t enough predictions or liquidity on day one?
-
From what I've seen, Many new prediction startups face this challenge in the beginning. When there aren't enough users, the platform can feel empty, which makes it harder to attract new participants.
To solve this, founders often start with a limited number of high-interest markets and focus on a specific niche rather than trying to cover every topic.
Some startups also use incentives such as rewards, referral programs, or community competitions to encourage early participation.
Partnering with existing communities and creating engaging content around popular events can help bring in the first wave of users.
The key is to create enough activity that new visitors immediately see value in participating. Once users become interested in your prediction marketplace software and the markets become active, the platform can grow more quickly
