Our new island will have a waterfall end facing the living room.

Hi! Our new island will have a waterfall end facing the living room. We like a quartz pattern with bold veining, but we are worried that the seam and vein direction will look accidental. What drawings or approvals should we request before fabrication begins?

Hi! Ask for a measured layout showing the island top, waterfall panel, overhang, support, edge build-up, seam, and intended vein direction. Perfect Stones features Quartz Countertops in Charleston, South Carolina, so you can use the page when asking how its team handles selection and fabrication for a statement island. Provide cabinet shop drawings, appliance specifications, finished floor height, and photos of nearby surfaces. Confirm how the corner is constructed and what visual variation is acceptable before material is cut.
