What Should I Know Before Taking OSHA 10 Training?
-
I’m considering taking OSHA 10 training and wanted to hear from people who have completed it recently. I understand the 10-hour Outreach course is mainly designed to give workers awareness of common workplace safety and health hazards. OSHA says it is primarily intended for entry-level workers, while the 30-hour course is geared more toward workers with some safety responsibility.
For anyone who has taken OSHA 10, was the training useful for your job? Did you take Construction or General Industry, and did you complete it online or in person?
I’m also curious what you would recommend checking before enrolling, especially when it comes to finding an OSHA-authorized trainer and making sure the course matches your industry.
