What should parents do if their child uses FML?

If a child uses FML, parents can ask them a question such as, "Are you using it to learn something, and what do you think it means? This provides a chance for conversations about internet language, context and respectful language. Instead of being dismissive, give a reason for why a person might feel the phrase is offensive and offer some other means of expressing frustration.
