What makes something stay timeless instead of becoming a trend?
-
I was thinking about the idea of “timeless” choices after reading the discussion about classic style. It seems like the things that last usually have a few qualities in common: they are practical, well made, adaptable, and they don't depend too heavily on whatever happens to be popular at the moment.
I wonder if the same idea applies to other lifestyle choices as well. For example, some dog breeds seem to have remained popular for generations because of their temperament and ability to fit into different types of households. Someone looking for Golden retriever puppies for sale may be choosing the breed not because it is a temporary trend, but because of its reputation for being friendly, intelligent, and family-oriented.
