Never done film before, which PPF brands are actually worth it here?

I am buying a new Nissan Patrol next month, and my wife has already decided that I must put film on it before we drive it anywhere. I have never done this before, so I have been reading at night to catch up. I found a page about the Top PPF brands worth considering in the UAE, and it listed a few names, but I could not tell which things really matter and which are just marketing. One shop told me their film is the best on the market, and another told me the same about a different brand. They cannot both be right. So I want to ask people who have film on their cars. Which brand did you choose, and how does it look now after a summer? Does the brand matter more than the person who fits it? A friend says a good installer with an average film beats a bad installer with the best film, and I think he may be right. Is thicker film better, or does it just cost more? Does the self healing really work in this heat? I also heard the warranty comes from the film maker, but some shops give their own, so which one is worth more if something goes wrong later? Another thing is the price. I have seen quotes that differ by almost double for the same car, so what do you get for the extra money? And should I cover the full car or only the front?
