I’ve been noticing more businesses looking at AI to help with recruitment, especially when they have a large number of applications to go through.
On one hand, it makes sense. AI can help with repetitive tasks like sorting CVs, identifying potential candidates, scheduling interviews, and handling initial screening. That could give recruiters more time to actually speak with candidates and focus on the hiring decisions.
But I’m curious about the other side of it.
Recruitment is quite personal, and a CV doesn’t always tell you whether someone is genuinely a good fit for a role. There’s also the question of whether candidates are comfortable being assessed by AI during the early stages of hiring.
Where do you think AI fits best in recruitment?
