I’m Colm Anthony Yates, an experienced automotive specialist and writer at Grande Cash for Cars. I began my journey in the Australian car industry back in 1989, and over the years, I’ve worked as a lead mechanic and built strong expertise in car auctions. I hold a professional licence along with a Certificate III in Mechanical Technology, which helps me ensure every vehicle is evaluated and priced fairly. When I’m not inspecting cars or writing useful guides, I enjoy spending time in nature and keeping up with the latest developments in car recycling laws.
