Hi everyone,
I wanted to start a discussion on how modern software tools, like Microsoft Dynamics 365, could help improve the efficiency of the Integrated Disability Evaluation System (IDES) process. As many of you know, tracking MEB and PEB cases, VA ratings, and associated documentation can be cumbersome and time-consuming.
Dynamics 365 offers modules for case management, workflow automation, and reporting. In theory, it could help:
Track the status of each case from MEB referral to final VA rating.
Automate reminders for deadlines, required medical evaluations, or command inputs.
Provide centralized dashboards for Service members, clinicians, and administrative staff.
Generate reports for trends in outcomes, delays, or common issues.
I’m curious if anyone has experience with implementing a CRM or case management solution like Dynamics 365 for military disability processes. Could it be adapted for IDES, or would security and regulatory requirements make this too challenging?
Looking forward to your thoughts!
