Sharjah – transmission started slipping after a "flush" elsewhere, need help

I'm kicking myself. Took my A6 to a random garage in Sharjah Industrial Area for a transmission fluid change because they offered a cheap flush. Now two weeks later the car is slipping between 3rd and 4th gear and I'm pretty sure they used the wrong fluid or didn't fill it properly. I should have known better than to trust a place that works on mostly Japanese cars. A friend who owns a repair shop in Dubai (but too far for me to tow) said I need to find someone who knows the ZF boxes and can do a proper oil change with the right spec. He suggested looking up Competent Transmission Oil Sharjah that actually uses the correct Audi fluid and follows the fill procedure with the car level and at the right temperature. Has anyone here recovered from a bad flush by getting a proper service done? I'm worried the damage is already permanent. Also curious if they can scan for transmission codes before doing anything. Just don't want to make it worse.
