That sounds like a classic “you get what you pay for” situation. Moving is stressful enough without having to worry about whether your stuff is going to arrive in one piece or if the guys will even show up on time. I’ve learned the hard way that saving a few bucks on a random, unvetted service usually ends up costing way more in repairs or lost items later on. It’s definitely worth paying the premium for a professional team that actually has insurance and a solid reputation. Never again!
